PetrobrasLargest offshore operator in Latin America · via ANP R&D

R$ 3.5Mproject value

Challenge: Control the valve of a subsea cutting torch mounted on an ROV, used to cut mooring lines and plates when decommissioning vessels, platforms and subsea structures.
Solution: Underwater torch with gas control and computer vision, coupled to a mini ROV.
Result: Performance proven in both applications; a project to extend the solution is under negotiation.
